HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Thousands of people are on hand as Hillary Clinton makes her third appearance in Upstate New York in as many weeks.
The former New York Senator spoke at Colgate University in Hamilton Friday night. It comes just days after she appeared at SUNY Buffalo and three weeks after she visited Hamilton College in Clinton.
Her speech was part of the Global Leaders Series at the school. Clinton addressed a wide range of topics, including government surveillance, the ongoing rise of China as a world power, and the current situation in Afghanistan.
"Despite all of the challenges, and you alluded to corruption, which is endemic not just in Afghanistan but in so many of the places where we are present; there has been an enormous amount of change that has given the Afghan people and their leadership the chance to consolidate the gains," said Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Other speakers in the Global Leaders series have included former President Bill Clinton, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and the Dalai Lama.
