BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- The storm that rolled through Monday night into Tuesday is also being blamed a train derailment just south of Whitney Point.

Representatives from the New York Susquehanna and Western Railway confirm that six rail cars went off the tracks early Tuesday morning.

They were carrying construction and demo debris at the time.

No one was injured, but the rail line is expected to remain closed until next week.
